Satya Narayan Sabat IPS officer Uttar Pradesh 1990 batch, who is presently posted as ADGP L&O Utter Pradesh Police has been awarded Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Sabat is considered as one of the most experienced officers in handling or managing important/sensitive occasions be it Kumbh Mela or Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan. He has also been appreciated by the Defence ministry for his work in looking after the security and ensuring smooth coordination during Defence Expo in Lucknow. He also played an instrumental role in successfully organizing the national Youth Festival 2020. Even during challenging situations, Sabat ensured the maintenance of Law & Order in Utter Pradesh.
