Hyderabad: The City Police in association with Synchrony, a consumer financial services company, inaugurated the CCTV surveillance system at Dabeerpura police station on Wednesday. The initiative was part of Synchrony’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme aimed at helping the City Police in improving safety.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, senior vice-president & chief security officer, Synchrony, Bill Reiner and vice-president Synchrony Reetesh Shukla, along with others were present at the event. The programme of installing CCTV-based video surveillance system was an attempt towards strengthening the monitoring network and safety of citizens in Hyderabad.
As part of the initiative, 58 cameras were installed in Dabeerpura police station limits.
Synchrony so far had supported the installation of 191 CCTV cameras in the city, according to a press release.
