CM Yogi Adityanath said a police academy of international standards will be set up in Lucknow for training cops, besides a forensic university to ensure that UP Police are not dependent on any other agency in case of any eventuality. In his address after inaugurating UP Police’s state headquarters in Gosaiganj on Monday, Yogi laid stress on the betterment of police force and said, “We will set up a modern police academy of international standards and a forensic university, so that we are not dependent on any agency in case of any eventuality. Refresher courses will be conducted to train police force in using latest technology.”
“Our efforts have changed the perception about UP and increased flow of investment. We will set up forensic laboratory in each range. A database of those spreading communal hatred and rumours should be maintained at each police station,” he added.
